False Chimney Breast

Why would anyone want a false chimney breast? Well, in many new homes and certainly in most flats and apartments, there is no chimney breast, and whilst some people are having their chimney breasts knocked out, many people are locating their flat screen tv's on them.
However, as much as people like their tv's to be up on the wall, they are never actually flush and still look like something hanging on the wall. This False chimney breast was built around a 42 inch flat screen tv to give it the appearance of being flush and the sides of the breast, traditionally un-functional had shelves built in to store dvd's and games etc. An electric fire was also built in (Not included).
The shelf unit on the side houses a sky box, a PS3 and a wii but could be built to suit any other peripherals. In addition to that, most of the wiring is also nicely hidden away within the chimney breast. (This side unit is not included).
The cost of the false chimney breast pictured here was £675 for labour and materials.
